Open Heavens 17 November 2025 Monday – Win Souls

MEMORISE: And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 10:7

READ: Daniel 12:1-3 Open Heavens 17 November 2025

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

MESSAGE: – Open Heavens 17 November 2025 Monday Daily Devotional

Some time ago, I was invited by the president of my country to preach at his daughter’s wedding. There were many VIPs there – heads of state, diplomats, top government officials, and the like. At the end of my sermon, I made an altar call. Later, someone called my son and asked, “What kind of pastor is your father, making altar calls at a state wedding?” I explained to my son that the reason I accepted the invitation was because I wanted to win souls for God.

Many of the VIPs at the wedding were not Christians, and I saw it as an opportunity for them to hear God’s word. The greatest good anyone can do for humanity is to win souls for Christ. If you do this, you are automatically making the world a better place. Genuine Christians don’t rob banks, so if you win souls, the rate of robbery will reduce. Genuine Christians don’t lie and steal, so if you win souls, there will be less corruption in the society. If you refuse to win souls for Christ, the society will only get worse.

If a genuine Christian runs for a political office and the voters are all corrupt, do you think they will let him or her win? Thieves will not come together to vote a policeman into power.

Therefore, it is important to convert the unbelievers in the society into believers so that the righteous can rule and the land can be prosperous (Proverbs 14:34).

For your society and standard of living to improve, you need to win souls for God, plant churches, and do mighty works for Him. This way, you won’t have to worry about politics. If you win your town for Christ, the leaders of the town will be children of God, and Proverbs 29:2 says that when the righteous rule, the people rejoice.

A soul winner is a vessel that brings salvation to others. He or she is a giver, a blessing, a coworker with God, and a divine partner with Him. Being a soul winner has several benefits.

When you become a soul winner, you will enjoy greater blessings than just being a Christian who does not bear fruits in God’s kingdom because the Bible says that it is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). Soul winning also gives you greater access to answered prayers (John 15:16).

Beloved, make up your mind to become an ardent soul winner for Christ – it is in your best interest.

Open Heavens 17 November 2025 Monday Hymn

Hymn 32: To The Work! To The Work! We Are Servants Of God

1 To the work! to the work! we are servants of God,

Let us follow the path that our Master has trod;

With the balm of His counsel our strength to renew,

Let us do with our might what our hands find to do.

Refrain:

Toiling on, toiling on,

Toiling on, toiling on:

Let us hope, let us watch,

And labor till the Master comes.

2 To the work! to the work! let the hungry be fed;

To the fountain of life let the weary be led;

In the cross and its banner our glory shall be,

While we herald the tidings, “Salvation is free!” [Refrain]

3 To the work! to the work! there is labor for all;

For the kingdom of darkness and error shall fall;

And the name of Jehovah exalted shall be,

In the loud-swelling chorus, “Salvation is free!” [Refrain]

4 To the work! to the work! in the strength of the Lord,

And a robe and a crown shall our labor reward;

When the home of the faithful our dwelling shall be,

And we shout with the ransomed, “Salvation is free!” [Refrain]
