42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

43 And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;

44 And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 22-24

MESSAGE: – Open Heavens 29 March 2026 Sunday Daily Devotional

In today’s Bible reading, a leper came to Jesus, saying, “I know that if You want to, You can make me clean.” In those days, leprosy was deemed incurable; however, when the man encountered Jesus, he was immediately cleansed. In Acts 3:1-11, Peter and John saw a man who had been born lame, and Peter said to him, …in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” When the lame man didn’t rise to his feet, Peter took him by his right hand and lifted him up. Immediately, the power of God flowed through Peter’s hands into the lame man’s bones, and he jumped up.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father.

John 14:12

In the Scripture above, Jesus said that anyone who believes in Him will do greater works than the ones He did while He was on earth. If you are a child of God, you must know that your heavenly Father has anointed you with His power. This means that your hands are not ordinary– they have become God’s channel of healing, deliverance, and restoration.

Jesus Christ has paid the price for pains and sicknesses, and that is why He said in Mark 16:17-18: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” This means that if you are a true child of God and you lay hands on the sick, they will recover. When you lay your hands upon them, God’s power will flow through your hands to heal them. I decree that from now on, when you touch the sick, they will be healed.

I usually tell Christians who are doctors, “Before you administer medications to your patients, obtain their permission to lay hands on them, then pray for them.” I also tell them, “You will encounter situations where there will be nothing more you can do for your patients medically. At those times, hand their cases over to the One who said, ‘1 am the Lord that healeth thee.’

Beloved, if you are a child of God, your hands are powerful because they have been anointed by God. Therefore, exercise your faith in Him by laying hands on the sick for their healing, and you will begin to see special miracles happen through you.

Prayer Points for Open Heavens 29 March 2026 – THERE IS POWER IN YOUR HANDS

1. Father, I thank You for the power You have invested in my hands through Christ. Thank You for making me a channel of healing, deliverance, and restoration, in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, I ask for mercy for every time I have doubted the power in my hands, hesitated to lay hands on the sick, or relied on my own strength instead of Yours, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, let the anointing upon my hands flow afresh. When I lay hands on the sick, let Your healing power flow through me and cause them to recover, in Jesus’ name.

4. Lord, just as You healed the leper by touching him, let every person I touch receive supernatural healing, deliverance, and transformation, in Jesus’ name.

5. Father, use my hands to raise the fallen, lift the weary, and restore hope to the hopeless. Let me do the works that Jesus did and even greater works, in Jesus’ name.

6. Lord, I receive the grace to be like Peter and John—bold to take people by the hand and lift them up in Jesus’ name. Let signs and wonders follow my obedience, in Jesus’ name.

7. Father, for every Christian doctor and healthcare worker, anoint their hands with wisdom and power. Let them minister healing both medically and spiritually, in Jesus’ name.

8. Lord, in every situation where medical solutions fail, let my hands become the channel of Your divine intervention. Let patients experience miracles when I pray with them, in Jesus’ name.

9. Father, I pray for every believer reading this. Let their hands be consecrated and powerful for the work of the kingdom, in Jesus’ name.
