Open Heavens 6 December 2025 Saturday – Let the Word Dwell in You

MEMORISE: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16

READ: John 15:4-7 Open Heavens 6 December 2025

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Bible In One Year: Galatians 1-3

MESSAGE: – Open Heavens 6 December 2025 Saturday Daily Devotional

The Bible says in John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The Scripture went further to say, in verse 14 of the same chapter, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

When you dwell so much on the word of God that it leaves the pages of the Bible and begins to dwell in you and become so real to you like your own flesh, you will begin to see the glory of God.

2 Corinthians 3:18 says: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The more of God’s glory you see, the more you are transformed into His image from glory to glory. Hence, if you want to radiate God’s glory, you must study your Bible daily and meditate on it day and night. The word of God is powerful, and if you allow it to dwell in your heart, you will experience tremendous transformation in every aspect of your life.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Proverbs 18:10

The Scripture above tells us that God’s name is so powerful and that it is a fortress that preserves those who run into it. However, as powerful as His name is, Psalm 138:2 says, “1 will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” God’s word is even more powerful than His name. This is why you must not joke with the word of God.

Joshua 1:8 says that you should meditate on it day and night so that your ways can be prosperous and you can have good success. Good success implies that there is also bad success.

Beloved, only those who allow God’s word to dwell in their hearts and rule their lives can enjoy good success. I pray that you will indeed immerse yourself in the word of God and allow it to dwell richly in your heart so you can enjoy good success in every area of your life, in Jesus’ name.

Open Heavens 6 December 2025 Saturday Hymn

HYMN 3: Ancient Words

1 Holy words long preserved

for our walk in this world,

They resound with God’s own heart;

Oh, let the ancient words impart.

2 Words of life, words of hope

give us strength, help us cope;

In this world where’er we roam

ancient words will guide us home.

Chorus:

Ancient words ever true,

changing me and changing you;

We have come with open hearts,

oh let the ancient words impart.

3 Holy words of our faith

handed down to this age,

Came to us through sacrifice;

Oh, heed the faithful words of Christ. (chorus)

4 Martyr’s blood stains each page,

they have died for this faith;

Hear them cry through the years;

Heed these words and hold them dear. (chorus)
